
In the second instalment of the 2025 GP Webinar Series from St Patrick’s Mental Health Services (SPMHS), members of our Anxiety Disorders Team here at SPMHS, Judy Moran, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, and Frank Smith, Clinical Nurse Manager 2 and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, will present on the topic of anxiety disorders.
This hour-long webinar will cover the following topics:
- understanding anxiety disorders
- assessing an anxiety disorder in the GP surgery
- managing anxiety disorders and recurrent presentations.
Anxiety disorders are very common, and it’s estimated that one in nine people will experience an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. This webinar will provide a guide on best principles, practices, and approaches to support someone in their recovery journey.
GPs can submit their questions in advance by emailing communications@stpatricks.ie or during the webinar using the Q&A function on Zoom.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) will be sought for this event. Points available will be confirmed closer to the time of the event.
