Applying for positions

St Patrick’s Mental Health Services (SPMHS) welcomes applications to join our mental health team in both clinical and non-clinical roles.

All applications take place online and require you to submit a CV and cover letter. Some posts also require the completion of an application form.

You can find and apply for our current vacancies here. You can also use the form below to submit an application, even if a post you are interested in is not listed.

If you have any questions or experience any issues using the form, please email our Human Resources (HR) Department at hr@stpatricks.ie.

What should I include in my application?

What should I include in my application?

You will need to include your resumé or CV as part of your application. The objectives of your CV are to highlight the aspects of your education and work experience which you believe to be most relevant to the job you are applying for.

Your CV should:

  • Be honest and truthful
  • Give a brief but full account of your past education and work experience
  • Highlight your achievements
  • Be typed, proof-read and spell-checked
  • Include up-to-date contact details.

We also welcome you to submit a cover letter with your application. This should expand on your CV by giving more insight to your skills and experience, explaining why you are interested in working with us, and highlighting why you are the right person for the job you are applying for.

If you are responding to a listed vacancy, please specify the post you are applying for in your application. If you are expressing an interest in working for SPMHS or making a general application, please note the area you are qualified to or interested in working in.

Please note that, in the interest of fairness, we generally do not accept applications received outside the specified closing date for a position. We also do not accept paper CVs; all applications must be made online.
