GP webinar series to run again in 2022
Due to the success of the GP webinar series rolled out during the year, we will once again run a six-part webinar series throughout 2022. These CPD-accredited webinars will feature SPMHS clinicians and experts from multiple disciplines who will explore a wide variety of mental health topics.
Ahead of the launch of the 2022 series, we would love to hear your feedback about which topics you would like to see covered.
We would appreciate if you could complete our short survey to share your feedback.
Three CPD-accredited films added to GP portal
We have added the recordings of three previous webinars from the GP webinar series to view on our dedicated GP portal. The topics covered in these films are:
- Impact of COVID-19 on adolescent mental health and service delivery | Members of the team behind our Adolescent Mental Health Services explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent mental health
- Self-harm: Psychoeducation and intervention | Clinical psychologists from our team give a practical self-harm psychoeducation presentation for GPs, and explore self-harm interventions and how to respond to self-harming behaviours in the GP surgery
- Workshop with Anxiety Disorders Programme team | Members of our Anxiety Disorders Programme team explore assessments and referrals for anxiety presentations; the impact of COVID-19 on anxiety presentations; complex presentations of anxiety in the GP surgery; and therapy for anxiety disorders.
Each recording is recognised for CPD points by the Irish College of General Practitioners.
You can watch CPD-accredited mental health information films here.
More films from the remaining webinars in the 2021 GP webinar series will be added over the coming weeks.
