New cycles of day programmes accepting GP referrals

Here at St Patrick's Mental Health Services (SPMHS), we are now accepting referrals from GPs directly to upcoming cycles of a number of our day care programmes.

You can find out more about these programmes below. Simply name the specific programme or therapy when using any of our referral pathways; all referrals will then be assessed for suitability.

Save the date for our Founder's Day conference, which takes place online as a half-day event on Friday, 22 November 2024. Founder's Day is our annual CPD-recognised mental health conference for healthcare professionals which celebrates the legacy of our founder, Jonathan Swift.

We'll share more details on Founder's Day shortly, and, in the meantime, you can see other CPD events and opportunities especially for GPs below.

GP Portal

Our GP Portal is a dedicated online platform that offers a number of mental health information films, which are recognised for CPD points by the Irish College of General Practitioners and explore common mental health difficulties that may present in the GP surgery. Current films include topics such as anxiety, bipolar, psychosis and compassion-focused therapy.
